Fundraising

Advantage! Barrow Raiders Community Foundation have wonderful support from a set of volunteers, most of which have sprung out from our Silver Raiders walking rugby group.

This group of ladies, with one lady in particular, have been a driving force in recent months, recruiting, supporting, publicising and participating themselves. As a result of this commitment from those individuals, we have formed a Fundraising committee, with our first ever meeting taking place in June 2022.

The meetings are now to be every month, with a view to taking on more members from our many Advantage! programmes who have expressed an interest.  Moving forwards, the Advantage! fundraisers have discussed ideas, such as: annual C2B/K2B walk; Coop Loyalty Card; Bag Packs; Rugby cards; Raffles; Charity Ball and much more.  

With the drive and determination of the current members, and hopefully input from new members, this initiative will help contribute to the growth and development of Advantage! to allow us to continue with the great work in the community.
