Nina Bleasdale

Advantage Barrow Raiders Trustee

I’m Nina Bleasdale and I became involved in Advantage! Able Raiders as a Trustee through my little brother. At 46 he isn’t so little but as a huge Rugby League, Barrow Raiders and Wigan fan, it was inevitable that he would want to be a part of Able Raiders. For him, the Advantage! initiative is invaluable. He has never had the opportunity to engage in sport until this came along. He loves the opportunities, friendship and inclusivity so it was a privilege to be invited to join the Trustees.
I have worked for the NHS for 20 years, and see the health benefits that sport and community involvement and engagement brings. I have been a school governor and a director of a health charity and I aim to bring my experience to contribute to the continual success of the foundation.
