Job role: Provide key training and support to people of all ages and abilities. To help develop sports skills and other key skills.
Sporting background: I played football for my local team Ulverston Rangers from the age of 6 till I was 9 when I was 9 I joined Everton academy. I played there till the age of 12. From then I started captaining my county, Cumbria and from the age of 14 I was promoted into the u18 Cumbria squad becoming captain at the age of 15. I also represented my county through athletics competing in 100m, long jump and triple jump, winning all events at the northern county championships.
Biggest achievement: I would say my biggest achievement would be playing for Cumbria under 18’s at the age of 14 and being made captain at the age of 15.
Role model: My biggest role model would be my mum.
This is because she always worked her hardest to give me the best of everything. Rain or shine she never missed a game driving me across the country regularly and I want to be able to do the same for my son.
Sports qualifications: At GCSE I took a sports leadership qualification which in order to gain I went into primary schools delivering P.E lessons and fun sports days. I also referred many different sports including football and rugby. I’m also on my way to gaining rugby coaching qualifications amongst others.
